Railroad historian Dan Bolyard returns to speak on the Northern Pacific branchlines of the Columbia Basin. Follow the line to Coulee City through Moses Lake area and on to Connell. Learn about the railroad grade we all see along I-90 on the way to Ritzville and how it was once going to be part of the mainline across the state. Bolyard will also speak about the branch to Mattawa. Pictures of the early days of railroading will be included, including info on mergers, abandonments, and current operations.

Please save the date for the opening reception of I DO: Wedding Photographs from the Hilderbrand Collection & 120 Years of Wedding Fashion opening on Friday, January 12, 2018. The exhibit marries images from over 20 years of weddings captured by local photographer William R. Hilderbrand to a display of wedding gowns from the turn of the twentieth century through today.
 
Plus, take a trip down the aisle you’ll never forget as we screen Mamma Mia!, the story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told through songs by the popular 70’s group ABBA. Stretch your vocal chords to hits like “Honey, Honey” and “Dancing Queen.”

*ABBA inspired costumes or Bridal-wear strongly encouraged!
