Chief Moses kept his people out of Chief Joseph’s war of 1877 by being skeptical of supernatural beliefs and instead appealing to real world objects: “...in Moses Coulee I see white men dig holes. The deeper he digs, the colder it gets. No hot places down below.” The 1877 essay “The Fixation of Belief” by C.S. Peirce explains their differing philosophies.

The combination of ink’s one of a kind texture and the idea of handmade prints are irresistible. But have you seen the cost of premade stamps lately?! There are so many fun and affordable homemade stamp ideas, learn one with us! We will explore homemade stamp making using self-adhesive craft foam sheets.
 
Adult Swim honors the public pool tradition of giving adults a time and space for themselves. Visit the Moses Lake Museum during select gallery receptions to enjoy a night of play for your inner child making simple crafts.
 
Admission and craft activities are free. No-host wine bar courtesy of Camas Cove Cellars. All proceeds from wine tickets and general donations raised during the evening benefit the Family & Education Fund supporting free children’s and family programs and educational resources.
