It's almost that time again! Grant County Animal Outreach and The American Legion Joe R. Hooper Post 209 would like you join us for our 9th Annual Polar Plunge and Icicle Run. We are preselling Hoodies and Jackets with the Polar Plunge logo and the option of adding your name. There will also be other fun stuff available for purchase commemorating the day along with free goodies and warm drinks!!! If you are interested in placing an order give us a call @ 762-9616. And don't forget if we get $2016 donated by the event the Staff of G.C.A.O., the commander of the American Legion, the president of the board, and the director of the Legion Riders will all be jumping in so don't forget to donate!!

Established in 1939, the Ephrata Army Air Base sprang up from the sagebrush of Central Washington. Historian Mick Qualls will lead us on a journey back in time when the Ephrata Army Air Base was once training grounds for thousands of servicemen bound for Europe and the Pacific.
