Crescent Bar River Fest Schedule for August 25-27, 2017

QUINCY, WASHINGTON (January 25, 2017) – The third annual Crescent Bar River Fest has been scheduled for Friday, August 25 through Sunday, August 27 on the Columbia River at the Crescent Bar Community in Quincy, WA. This unique summer festival is a free community celebration for the greater Columbia Basin residents, families and friends who gather at Crescent Bar.
This winter Grant County PUD has started construction on their improvement plans at Crescent Bar to include a new 55 unit campground, park renovations on and off the island, a walking path, and improvements to the off-island marina. We anticipate that these improvements to the island community are going to enhance the Crescent Bar experience.
The projected completion time for these projects is in early summer. However, the PUD has provided event organizers Sunshine Marketing with information on the progress of construction so that a good, sound decision can be made about the event date for Crescent Bar River Fest this year. Both the event organizers and the PUD wish to produce the best possible event to be hosted at the redefined venue.
Based on the projected construction schedule, it has been decided to consider a date later in the summer.  For the past two years, the event has been held the weekend before 4th of July in late June. This year this event will be held the weekend before Labor Day weekend in August. August typically proves to have great warm weather, and should be an equally wonderful weekend for Crescent Bar River Fest.
The festival will feature many events over the course of three days centered around watersports competitions. There will be wine tasting, professional and amateur INT League waterski and wakeboard competitions, a paddle sports race, golf tournament, classic car show, motorcycle rally, live music, a beer and wine garden, farmers market and more. For more information, please visit CrescentBarRiverFest.com.  ###

In late 2010 The Incandescent started as a collaborative worship project between Armstrong & McArdle. However, It became clear in 2011 that the group was meant to be more than a worship quintet in their hometown. In the years since the band has gone on to perform a plethora of concerts with many great artists!
